I'm going to recommend you call verizon, I have verizon and I have had avant-garde calling, simultaneous voice/data since day 1. I used the SIM from my LG V10 that as well had that enabled. Don't demand the lte plus to have volte. Just received my ph1, installed sim and factory reset, *#*#4636#*#*, turn volte flag off and so back on, and exercise the same in cellular settings. Volte and Hard disk vocalism piece of work fine. Same process for the Axon 7. Don't make any other changes.

I did this and it seems to have worked. When I first did this, I lost both cellular and data connectedness. Verizon would drop almost immediately. Network operators is commonly greyed out, only while downwardly it allowed me to select any provider. During my struggles, the Verizon pick inverse to Verizon LTE. Kept trying things after that, repeating the process above with 4636. Somewhen got everything back, and voice/data are working. I really call up Verizon had my old telephone somewhere in the bowels of their network. When I lost everything, I think the connection was restored fresh to the PH-1. Your correct though, both Essential and Verizon were pathetic. Verizon rep said he'd never heard of PH-one, and said I should buy a compatible phone from him.

Similar others I have found that Essential Tech Back up is, well non-essential, or perchance useless in helping resolve this. They strung me along for several weeks and could never provide whatever concise instructions for how to enable Verizon Hd Voice. Verizon at to the lowest degree tried to assistance, but after getting kicked to Tier 2 Tech Support they are now just saying Verizon does not support any of the Advanced Calling Features similar HD Voice or Visual Voicemail on the Essential PH-1. Though they would non state they will never offer these features on the PH-1. When I took this back to Essential they came back with a statement that they only guaranteed the PH-ane would make and receive calls on the Verizon network, and exercise non guarantee any advance features will work.

Sorry I don't know what suggestions you have tried that'due south why I ask specifically if you tried what I mention. Sadly since it's not a Verizon phone they will merely do so much, and essential isn't anyone to boss Verizon around and then the user is the i that suffers in the cease.

Received "Server Fault" when calling whatsoever number. I turned off Enhanced LTE and changed the network type to LTE/CDMA/EvDO, and rebooted. My problem is solved.

I just got mine working with some instructions from an Essential rep!

The Global option didn't work for me, merely the LTE/UMTS option did! Hopefully this helps some people out!

I had the same issue and couldn't get whatsoever sms messages either. I had gotten a new sim card and fabricated sure had voice was on my account and poof, everything was working fine. Including LTE+...

Bought my essential phone a few weeks agone, and VoLTE was working straight out the box no problem. Slapped my vzw sim card in and information technology was working great. I've since rooted and gone back and forth between a few ROMS besides as the stock room via TWRP.

I noticed afterward flashing back to the stock ROM from Syberia, I have lost my VoLTE.I don't know for fact if the ROM was the issue, this is just when I noticed it. I'm now stuck on 1xRTT for calls. I've manufactory reset the phone, I've wiped and formatted information in TWRP, reinstalled the stock ROM with all the variants from may update including the current July update. Both OTA download and the fastboot version from essential'south website. I've tried replacing the SIM with a brand new one from VZW to see if that would do it, but I'm still stuck on 1xRTT for calls yet I had VoLTE from the start time I fired upwards the device. I bought this brand new off eBay as an open box item. It is a Sprint variant device that was sim unlocked to use on whatsoever network.

I did endeavour my married woman's sim menu in here who has a Samsung s8+ and it did the exact same thing, stayed on 1xRTT. She has HD phonation turned on, on her line, and I've had Hard disk drive voice turned on for equally long equally I can remember on my line.
